This matcha bowl is a special collab between CTea and Axian of Shishan Studio. Made in Jingdezhen with raku firing, each bowl is one of a kind. The hand-carved lily, soft matte black glaze, and organic texture reflect purity, calm, and the rhythm of nature.

The bowl is wheel-thrown into a wide, shallow shape with a slightly curved rim, then trimmed by hand once semi-dry. After bisque firing at 750°C, it’s hand-painted with floral motifs and glazed. A second high-temperature firing at 1240°C completes the piece. Once cooled, kiln marks are cleaned and the rim and foot are gently sanded for a smooth, comfortable touch.
Every step honors the rhythm of clay, fire, and hand.
